Zeyu Yao 姚则禹☀️

I'm Zeyu (Peter) Yao, an incoming Computational Biology undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon University, currently serving National Service in Singapore.

I'm interested in using computational methods to better understand biological systems, particularly at the intersection of machine learning, genomics, and biomedical research. My previous projects have involved computational biology, biological representation analysis, and software development.

Beyond research, I enjoy building things, contributing to inclusive communities, playing jazz guitar, running, swimming, and photography. I value rigorous science, thoughtful collaboration, and learning from people across disciplines.
